how many is to many for

So i was wondering. How many people do you think should be in your bridal party.
How many are in your bridal party?

fh and I have 7 on each side. so 14 total. he wanted more but it has to stop somewhere!!

i have 4 couples in my bridal party and one ring bearer..

you can really have any number u want, i wanted a small wedding

i think it depends on the size of your wedding and what you feel comfortable with.

ETA: i'm having 5 on my side (3 BM, 1 Jr. BM and a MOH) and FH is having either 3 or 7 (if you take one you take them all kind of mentality). Our wedding should be about 130-150.

i wasn't actually going to have one. just my MOH. but then i was told it best to have a bridal party. great for pictures and for keeping you on ur toes and so on.
So now i am thinking 6 ladies and one flower gurl.
I already have picked my ladies.
But now i don't know about the guys> but do i let my FH pick his guys?

personally, I like to keep things small so we also have 4 couples. We are also having a bit of a budget wedding and the limos and gifts necessary for a large bridal party just weren't in the finances for us.

I think that its hard to say what it too bigg.. Everyone in ours is very important and couldnt be kept outt.. Ive seen people with just a MOH and BM and then Ive seen people with way over 20

I was only havin MOH and BM...
But my BP grew now :) I have MOH and 3Bm.... with 1BM and 3gm...

There really is not limit but you should choose your BP wisely and you should also keep in mind the cost of having a larger BP. If you have a larger BP that's that many more gifts you are going to need to buy them and $$ spent. This was one big factor FH and I took into consideration when picking our BP. For us though, we also wanted to keep it pretty small. He wanted to do 4 only but I have 5 (couldn't be avoided in my eyes) but it works out even because I have 2 MOH's to his 1 BM so they will walk together.

I have 3 on each side...BUT that is because I am anti bridal party....3 was my limit IMO I did not want my wedding looking like a sweet sixteen. 3 is enough for me.
