I am inviting 175. I think 120 will show up (there are a lot of OOT's). About how many items should I be registering for?

meaning you invited 175 to your wedding or to your shower?
I think your registry is mostly for your shower. Most people will give money for your wedding.
Register for the things you need and then if you don't think thats enough register for the things you want. Also make sure there is a range of prices so people can give a gift they are comfortable with.

I registered for everything we would need. We don't live on our own or together for that matter. I had about 60 people at my shower- inviting 200 to the wedding. I pretty much received everything off my list.

I really didnt go by that. I just registered for anything and everything that we needed or wanted.

i registered for about 130 things, and we're inviting 200. folks have bought stuff at our engagement party and Christmas off our registry, and between the shower and wedding i'm sure it'll be utilized a lot more. plus things i registered for but don't receive i get a discount on-so i can use the wedding money that way if we so chose. i say get however much you need and/or want though!

Not sure how many items we are registering for-we are also just registering for whatever we can think of that we need- we started a registery before our engagement party, but we are going to add more soon for the bridal shower.

With China we registered for over 130 and I thought that was alot but we got almost everything for our e-party and now we need to restock the registry

I have registered for a whole bunch of items. I will only have around 20 coming to my shower, so.. a whole bunch will just be left there.

I have about 200 items on my registry. I was told by the Bridal registry people at Macy's that if I was having 150 guests at the wedding, I needed to register for 200 items. They said I needed to give people choices.

I agree with the register for what you need. Just include a variety of things and price ranges. There are some people who love giving kitchen supplies and small things.
