Prior to being pregnant, I wanted 2, now I am thinking 1 might be the perfect number

We are thinking 1-2. Although twins run in both of our families so we may get a double blessing who knows?

I want 2 and FH wants 1, will see after 1....

Wow. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't want kids...

Well I know I'm definately not ready for them. Unfortunately I feel as if FH is pushing the idea which is making not want to even more.

Next semester I'm doing my maternal rotation and the summer is pediatrics in nursing school so he's hoping my maternal instinct will kick in!!

I've made it clear to him that I may not want children. But he's made it clear he wants at least a girl and boy.

Still debating on the kids issue....there are days I don't wany to have any and there are days I do.

DH definitely wants them, so this has been an issue of disagreement sometimes.

For those that don't want kids, I'll post part of one of my blogs here:

I don't know why but I hate the 'when are you gonna have kids?' question. What if one of us was unable to have kids? And why do people make it out to be as if getting married & having kids is the ultimate goal in anyone's life? There's a lot more to life than just having kids. And quite frankly, as we see in the news every day some people are not fit to be parents.

Oh yeah and since when are our reproductive organs anyone's freaking business? Would we be considered a failed couple or having a failed marriage if we produced no offspring??!!

Yes, these are the thoughts that hit me....and there are other days when I seriously want to have a baby....go figure.
