I had mine on Saturday and I didn't LOVE it. Maybe it was my fault b/c I wasn't specific with colors, and my eyes were a little too dark. Are you guys being specific w/ colors you want or are you just trusting the person to see what they do? I'm not sure if I should go again or find someone else.

If you're not happy, definitely have another trial.
I got lucky in that I loved my first trial and booked her on the spot. I am using Mia of BridalLounge - highly recommend her.

I had one trial. I instantly clicked with her and loved what she did. I booked on the spot. However, if you're not happy, definitely go for a trial with someone else.

I had the same problem (mine was on Friday) except my eyes were bright blue eye shadow! I am probably doing at least 10. but that's me. I'm very picky lol.
the makeup artist should be able to tell what would look good on you, at least a good one will.

I only had one trial so far! Arrgh, I'm going to cry during the wedding, and I don't know if the makeup would last!!!!!!

I had 2 trials, both with Oksana.
I booked last year and went back in February to try different colors now that I had more of an idea I was going for.

I had one make-up trial and was very pleased. If you are not happy, keep getting them until you find someone who you are satisfied with.

when i started looking i had selectted a few i liked from this site.. did some research on pics and got comments from brides and then booked!!
they were booking up fast so i didnt want to miss out!

This also makes me feel better!
I have done 2 trials and didn't like either of them. Too much make-up! The girls at MAC laughed at me because i was the one bride who wanted them to put on less than what they first applied. I knew it wasn't a good match!
Still looking... the good vendors on this site are pretty much booked as I am getting married on such a poplar day. Oh well... I'll keep on trying. I'm going to give Bare Minerals a shot next. Gorgeous Faces already had a wedding on my date, and I just don't feel comfortable being the second booking.

It shouldn't be your fault...I'm sure you pay for the trial and these supposedly 'make up artist' are professional enough that they should know better. Yes you may want specific color but she should advise you what will look good or not.
I had my 1st hair and make up trial on Sunday and I hate my make up...it was so cakey and she keep saying..'it looks good and natural'... she must be blind or liar...whatever.
I'm having 2nd trial this Sat, if this doesn't work out I will do my own make up.
Good luck...oh by the way, make sure you ask them if they sanitize their brushes...bec. they lady who did mine did not...yuck!!!

I'm having my second trial this weekend because I wasn't in love with the first one. I will keep going until I am in love. You should be in love with the way you look, you have to look at those picutres for the rest of your life!

I had two and I was very PO'd with one what a total waste of time and money. If I was you I would go with someone whose work I was really secure with . . . why waste about $100 a pop trying out several, unless you have it like that. I however didn't.
