How many makeup trials did you go to before selecting your M/U artist?
ETA: Once you selected the M/U artist, how many trials do you intend on having?

I picked my artist after one, because I can tell she's really good, but am having more than one trial with her to pick what looks best on me.

just one - with Jillian from Gorgeous Faces. I booked her the very next day (I wanted to make sure the MU stayed on all day, which it did)

I was in the same boat as you, I went to 4 and had given up and had deiced to do it myself, but then I decided to give it one more try and I had the best make up trial , she just blew me away.
I wear make up every day and am pretty good at doing my make up myself but I wanted to just sit back and relax on my wedding day.
