I am just curious. do you guys have a set number of trials to do? I am not sure how many to schedule.
It's upsetting that almost all of the makeup and hair people are from LI (even though it makes sense) I have to find some closer to me or in the city (which is BIG $$)

I found a make-up artist and hairstylist (they are sisters) in the city who does free unlimited trials in the city. But they cost $$$$ for the day of the wedding.

I have a make up trial scheduled for next month. If I like her, I'll book her. I think I am going to use my regular hairdresser for my wedding day. Once i have my headpiece, I'll schedule a trial. If I don't like it, then I will just use someone else.

I went with one only because I used the same people my girlfirend did .....and I got a trial a week after her wedding - the price was good - they came to my house and after seeing how AWESOME she looked i figuered i couldnt go wrong!

only one hair trial, b/c I already have my stylist...
For make-up, I think I'm going to do 3 trials. I've had one already. I want to book someone soon!
