How many menus?

So one of my bridesmaids offered to make menus for the wedding. She sent me a sample and they are beautiful! But I need to figure out how many she should make.... do you need one per person? Can you put them 2 people to one menu? Or maybe 2-3 per table? I am having around 10 people at each table.

We are doing one in a frame at each table. It will also serve as the table number. I found that when the menu is on a plate the servers take it away before you have an opportunity to read it. When it is in a frame it is left on the table.

One per couple and one per single person attending....the single shouldn't have to share with a stranger..... unless you're playing matchmaker :P

I did one per person but then again I had 96 people at the wedding... more than 100 I think I would have made one per couple.

1 per person I think or 1 per couple as long as they came to the wedding together

You can actually go any which way with menus I think. Remember, it's going to be thrown away... if you want to save a little, do 3 per table in a frame. If you can afford doing one per person, that's great. I think it depends on your preference and its importance to you ....

I am doing one per person. The way my hall folds their napkins there is a little pocket on the front. So I made my menu to match that size and it will fit right in

I did 1 per every 2 at a table

I would make sure that if you plan to put them on each plate, find out if your fisrt course will already be served when the guests enter the reception site. They may not be able to put the menus on the plates. I am doing two per table on easels.
