How many months before did you (or will you) send out STD's?

I'm addressing mine now for my June wedding, but may hold off in sending them out until next month if it's too early. Thoughts?

I sent mine out with the thank you cards from my engagement party. This was in June and my wedding is in March. (9 months)

I sent them out last month for a July 2012 wedding. I have a lot of OOT guests so it was very important for me to make sure they knew the date far in advance.

I was planning on sending mine out at the year mark but actually haven't picked mine out yet. So maybe I'll be between 10 and 11 months?

we are date twins and i'm not sending mine out until november (i hope) since i'm not taking my epics until 10/15. i'll be hopefully about 7 months from the wedding date.

I just ordered mine but didn't get them yet. I'm hoping to send them out by the first week in October, which would be around 9 months. But I have friends who sent theirs out at the 6 months mark and said that was fine too!

i sent mine out last week, I find that some people with kids and such tend to start making vacation plans (i'm a holiday weekend) when the school year starts...
