How many NO shows?

My friend just got married & told me she had 5 no show? Now she has my worried because thats a waste of $750-

OMG that's horrible!!! I can totally understand if some emergency or something comes up and they tell you but just standing you up at your wedding? WOW! And yes a waste of money!!

I am going to try and not to think about this...at least until I send invites out and thats not for a while. lol

I would be very. very. pissed. Especially if nobody was notified

same here! i just hope this doesn't happen to us

never even got in touch with me as to why they never showed

I was able to fill 4.

I was down 11 that last week.

An entire family of 5.

My Aunt & Uncle because she went into the hospital.

My friend and her husband because there newborn baby had a fever.

My mom's cousins husband cancelled, she came solo

And my cousin is getting a divorce so his wife said the week before that it would be too hard to go as a family.

that's BS!!!! My friend had someone who responded yes and then a few days before said he wasn't going. THen gave her a check for $25!! Mind you, it was a raphael vineyards so that wasn't even CLOSE to covering his plate, or even his cutlery!

UGH! How do you just not show up to a wedding?!

We had 2 complete NO shows (didn't call me)
We then had 4 people who were sick and did let me know (i could only get reimbursed for 3 people)

im expecting about 2 to 4 last min cancels

one a shady ex-coworker w/ a guest
one co-worker w/ a guest


im mentally prepping myself for them to now show up
but I already warned people on FB

I will CALL YOU OUT IN PUBLIC if you dont excuse yourself from my weddinf properly

i actually wont mind 2 or 3 formal informed cancellations

I only wanted 80 people at my wedding, i'm sitting at 101 LOL

More things to stress about- Great!!

I barely made my minimum, so I hope this does not happen.

FH posted on FB that he's going to send every person whose a no show an invoice for the cost of their plate .


so my guests have been warned!!!! LOL
