Does anyone know what percentage of people generally say NO when invited to a wedding? Like how many no's should we expect? Can anyone weigh in on this?

I think generally 20 percent. You might predict more if you're inviting a lot of out of town guests.

it can be anywhere from 10-30 ... that's why people say 20 :-P
i had almost 30% no's (which was surprising because at our engagement party, we only had 5% no's)

We invited about 110 and we only had 5 say no so dont bank on percentages....it really is hit or miss

It could always turn out that everyone comes and then your way over budget!! I'm inviting a ton of people from out of town and FH is banking on the fact most won't come. Little does he know they are all buying plane tickets already!!! hahaha!

I would invited as many as I can afford and what my space can hold as you don't really know how many people will say yes.. I am just starting the rsvp stage so I don't have a guage yet...All have been yes this early... My big fear would be to over invite and more people want to come that I have space... My room holds 75-80 so that is how many I sent out.
