my whole office revolted on my boss. we told him were not coming because we come in every other time we had a snow storm. It doesn't matter to much because we can all work at home. I just have to get the motivation to start. lol

yep, I'm here too. & I just heard Metro North is switching to a Sunday schedule b/c no one's on the damn trains! Ewww . . . the evil local train! And I made it here on time today, so I could leave on time at 4 30, but now, I won't be able to get a trian till 530

I'm in the office now, but everyone else is home.... I live about 5 min away (walking) so I offered to come in and answer the phones... but my boss said that I can go home after lunch... I feel bad for those who did travel and leave them here... but if it's slow, I might as well be home with my dog

Im here at work too. I took a half day today to meet with 3 catering halls and now I have the feeling they might be closed. I'll wait until 11 to call and see if they will be open.

I made it in.. no problem. Trains weren't that badly delayed on the Hempstead line.
Subways were ok..
LOTS of people stayed home so it was a light commute. If I have to come in during slushy weather at least Im not boxed in with other wet coats in a subway, works for me.
Im a cheerful optimistic.. 'It could be worse'
Our office buildings system message said collegues were MAKE their BEST efforts to come in today and tomorrow. It sounded very stern.. hehe.. poor guy who recorded the message did it at 4am.

I have work today . The commute wasn't bad at all just alot of slush and some snow mountains.

MY job made us stay at the hotel across the street (they paid for it) to make sure we came in today! So a bunch of coworkers stayed and we all got together and played cards until 1 am and then took the shuttle over at 8am...plus we got free dinner out of it! MMMMM...

PS: this SUCKS cause the only department that is working today is mine b/c I work for tech sppt and they are open 24/7...but only about 7 people came in and everyone else called in saying they couldnt come in cause of the snow....WHATEVER! Now it's so friggin busy I don't even have time to check this site! (I actually put a client on hold to write this..haha!)

Well I work in retail and it'll take 3 feet of snow to close my store. So I'm going in, but will call in late.
