are planning a drastic move after marriage? Or are you planning on living near to where you are living now?

FH and I bought a house back in June so we will be living there together. We live about 30 minutes from FH's parents and about 90 minutes from mine.

we're hoping to stay in bay ridge, but FH keeps badgering me to move to florida. i dont think it'll happen.

we're staying exactly where we are now (in our apt we share) until we can afford a house. we plan on staying on LI though.

FH and I are in the process of buying a house in Stony Brook. 15 minutes from my parents and 15 minutes from his condo. I can't wait!

We own an apartment right now in Brooklyn, but we're going to start looking for a house on Long Island. That's where I'm originally from.

FH considers moving from queens to long island drastic!

i want to eventually move back to LI but for now we are going to live in his apartment in Howard Beach. I'll move in after the wedding.

We are staying at the Apt where we are now. We just moved in back in Sept. The lease is for 1 year. Not sure where after??? We will probably stay here.

We'll be moving to either Pittsburgh or Charleston in July, depending on where FH matches for his internship... We find out at the end of the month

I made the move before we got engaged! I moved to NJ right before I started my new job. FH has been living here for about 4 years now and has a great job, so...I did the moving this time! (he moved first from Georgia to NJ! )

Big decision time . . . FH was just offered a job up in Binghamton, but I already have a job done here . . . so this is what we are discussing right now.

for now, we'll be staying on LI renting... but in a year or two, i would say we would be moving.... i don't think we can afford to stay here... houses are insane and property taxes are disgusting. we want one of us to be able to stay home with our future kids rather then both work full-time to pay taxes and a mortgage..... we're thinking PA.
