feel that your ring is looser due to the weather getting colder?? i get paranoid that it slides around too much..
sooo do you get a guard every winter? in the hot weather my ring fits fine.. i hate when rings do that!!

I wanted to get a ring guard as well, but my jeweler recommended that I got 'shots' instead. Shots are pretty much 2 really tiny balls mended into the inside of the ring, that prevents your ring from slipping off your fingers. At first, I was like 'What the heck are these tiny little balls gonna do' but you'd be surprised!
My advice is to get shots made in the ring, and it's not visible when you wear it. I chose to get shots, b/c it does no harm/scratching to the ring, and it's easily removable. They were free to get by my jeweler, since the ring was purchased there, and I plan on melting the shots once I get pregnant... because I know my fingers will be swollen. If my fingers shrink again after that, guess what I'm putting shots back again.
Shots are made with the same type of material your ring is. If you have a platinum ring, your shots will be platinum, if it's white gold...it'll made with white gold, etc...
Ask about shots if you can.

when we got engaged i was worried my ring was too tight! i had to sleep with it off...but that was in AUgust and now the ring fits perfectly!!!

My ring has been HUGE since I got it. I never have a chance to get to the place to see if they can fix this because they close at 5 and I'm never here in NJ on weekends it seems like.
My e-ring fits my freaking THUMB!

my e-ring fits my thumb in the winter. but it's perfect the rest of the year.
