are having a mass? I don't know if I want just a ceremony or a full mass. I have time to decide but just got back and forth.
ceremony...a good number of family members on FH's side aren't catholic so we don't want to make things awkward for them.
Does anyone know if you have more freedom with readings if it is just a ceremony? I really want to have a poem read at our ceremony...

We're just doing a ceremony because not all the guests are catholic, I didnt want some people to feel uncomfortable when communion time came up,
Our church told us that we're only allowed to have a ceremony because we're getting married on a Sunday. The churches schedule works out so there is only enough time for a ceremony because of baptisms in the afternoon and 5 o'clock mass. So we're doing a ceremony at 4. We only wanted a ceremony so we're happy and its one less decision we had to make.
