Congratulations!!
I didnt because I didnt have an E-Party, but Im giving one at the the wedding, FH will give it in English and I will give it in Spanish, just a way of us saying Thank You

I didn't give a speech, but my Dad did, and he mad me cry
I dont think you have to, but I would grab the mic and give a Thank You to everyone towards the end of the party

Dad and Stepmom are throwing the party, so my Dad will give a speech--so I feel like I don't HAVE to give one--but once I get there I know I'll feel like I should thank everyone fo being there, etc. Thanks Girls!

I don't think its necessary to give a huge speech but I would thank your guests for coming and supporting you and maybe say something sweet about FH.....or ask FH to do the speech and hit for him to say something sweet

I refused to do a speech, I didnt want anything to weddingish , no cutting the cake, no dancing. I'm very superstitious!
I dont even want a speech at the wedding and just clam up and turn RED

we gave one at our rehearsal dinner. We didn't have an engagement party- but Im sure we would have said a thank you if we did have one.
