we are!! and let me tell you - when your wedding is over it will be a HUGE weight lifted off of your shoulders!!!

DH & i had some help with the down payment of the house however, so i would love to say that we did EVERYTHING on our own, but we almost did!! we did enough to stress us out for the whole process so i know how you girls feel!!

....and we are closing on our house june 5th

I couldn't imagine, we toyed with starting to look for a house but we think we need to handle one big event at a time so after the wedding we will do the house hunting, but I can only imagine how stressful it must be!

It is like they are neck in neck......we have to have all the wedding planning done and the house renovated all at the same time. I know in the end it will be worth it especially since we bought the house when the market was at a low so we will make money on the house but right now it is just making me so anxious and stressed to try and get everything done.

We were freaking out just paying for the wedding ourselves. We are going to keep renting for a year or so after the wedding.. then we should have a down payment for a house!

I know tell me about it Everybody keeps telling me to take things one day at a time because you cant do everything all at once but I want my house to be all finished when I move in. That might sound terrible but I do. The house really is in move in condition but there are still somethings I would like to do if we can. Besides the small things like painting and new carpeting we need to fence in the yard, put a new floor in the kitchen and new countertops. I would love to re-do both bathrooms but we will see how it goes. That might have to wait until later, what ***** is that it seems like everything I pick is so expensive and things add up quickly. I cant even start to think about the fact that we also need all our furniture
