If so what are you doing? I honestly don't think I can afford them so what are my alternatives?

Re: How many of you are not using limos?
we didn't. i really didn't see the need. Small BP, and ceremony and reception were in the same place.
My Dad actually drove me! (It helps that he has a white Land Cruiser, so it was roomy and pretty.) It was alot of fun, and we had nice moments in the car.
Everyone just drove themselves to Raphael. It worked out just fine, and there were no complaints.
If we were having a black tie wedding, i would have gotten them. But I tried hard to break alot of 'rules' of weddings, and this was one of them.

We're going to get married at our reception hall, so in my opinion, there really isn't a need for us to have limos. We can put that money towards something else.
Our mothers don't drink, so they will be our 'designated drivers' to and from the hall.

Yeah, I feel the same. We are having a very small wedding so i figured maybe hire a car service to take me from the hotel to the church and then maybe go with my moh to the reception.

We are also having the ceremony at the hall, so we are not going to use limos, but we haven't decided what to do yet. We may have relatives drive us from the hotel to the reception and back, or maybe a van.

No limos for us either. Our ceremony and reception are at the temple. I'll be getting ready there as well.

Don't you want to be with FI/DH on the way to the reception? I don't think you need a limo, but what ever you go in it should be big enough for both of you and clean so you won't stain your dress.

oh of course, she has an suv so it's pretty big for all of us but like I said maybe I will hire a car service if that doesn't work out.

WE didn't.
We also had a small wedding party, MOH and BM only and everything was at the hall. My MOH drove me in my 2005 Toyota Camry and it was fine.
Oh, I also knew that if I rented limos I'd be persuaded to provide a car for DH's two OOT sisters and their families plus my Dad, brother and IL's. I'd need about three cars and a huge SUV... no way was I spending the money in that area.

We're not using limos either. We are also getting married at our hall, but we have to be ready and there early anyway.......so we are all driving together (me and my bm's)--and my FH I'm sure will go w/ some of his groomsmen.
There is no need for us to have limos IMO either, so Im happy we chose not to have them.
But I will have one for my bach. party

Re: How many of you are not using limos?
I'm not getting a limo. I'm getting married at Villa Lombardi's. I think we might rent a town car though just to drive me from my house to the park (to take pics). My SIL just jumped in my dad's truck, and he drove her when she got married. Limos are too expensive, and in my case, no one would know the difference.
