How many of you are paying for your BMs hair???

All my girls are from out of town, so I thought I should pay for their hair since Im picking the salon. FH thinks Im nuts! Opinions?? What is everyone else doing??

I have definitely heard of brides paying for their BMs hair, but I am not. I have 11 girls! I am not making them get updos because I have sisters with all different taste. I decided it wasn't worth upsetting everyone over, so they can wear their hair however they want.

I'm paying and there are NINE of them, yes

but I requested that they all have up-do's! That is part of their presents!

I have heard of this, but I'm NOT doing this. My wedding is on a tight budget as it is, and I spoke with each of my girls ahead of time and they said they would want to pay anyways. So, I bought them nice necklaces and a beatiful engraved chest for the jewelry to sit in.

I think it's a nice gesture in lieu of a gift. I'm not paying for my girls. I'm giving them the option of having it done, or they could do it themselves. If they want it done professionally then they'll have to pay.

I offered to pay for half IF they get it done by my hair stylist. Otherwise, they're on their own.

That's what I'm doing, too. Most of my girls are OOT, so this is nice for them. But I'm paying for everyone to be fair. I only have 4 bm and 1 MOH

I dont plan on doing this, I am giving them each a nice gift for being in the party

I want to but I have to see where we are with our other expenses...We are paying for the entire wedding ourselves...I really want to...I have 5 girls...I am going to call a salon that I want to see what the deal will be with cost.

I am. My wedding is 11:30 a.m. so and we're doing pix before so it's an early day, I figured it would be better to have everyone all in the same place having their hair and makeup done (yes, I'm paying for that too, thought I was Rockefeller at the time).

I'm paying for makeup. They're taking care of their own hair

I am supplementing the cost of their hair. It will be $75 each and I'm paying $25 of that.

I paid for half of their hair as part of their gifts

I definitely think its a wonderful gesture...my girls won't even be getting ready where I am or I may have contributed. I did offer to pay for my MOH's make-up but she'll be getting ready in CT now

All my girls are from OOT too. I picked my salon, and told them the price. I also let them know it was typically more down here on Long Island so I would give them other places to get their hair done. I'm not paying for it. We're paying for the wedding ourselves and I have to draw the line. They all decided to go to the salon, except 1. She's just doing her hair herself.
