doing the whole shebang. I'm the first of my ladies to get married and FH is the first out of his guys pretty much so there are plenty of them available for the tosses. Everyone of course will act like they are too cool but they'll go up i'm sure.

same for us haha

but i think i might just do the garter and not the bok toss. i don't know though how does it work if you have a guy catch the garter whose leg do they put it on if i dont do a bok toss? haha

I'm doing neither. We are going to have an Anniversary Dance instead of a bouquet toss and I am not a big fan of the garter thing (or the cake smashing either).

i gave single roses to my single girlfriends and passed my 'tossing' boquet to my very good friend who is getting married next.... She was touched & all of the girls who got the roses really appreciated the gesture!

I'm doing both. I know a lot of people these days tend to be going away from the whole traditional things done at a wedding, but I must admit, I miss these things at a wedding!!! I feel like it's against the norm these days to actually do the bouquet and garter toss. So just as people used to try to be different and not do these things at the reception, I think I'm going to be different and do them, haha.

I'm doing both - just to have a little fun with my unmarried cousins- also FH's aunt is getting married two months later in April and one of my friends is proposing to his long time GF by the end of this year.

So imo it's worth doing both

i REALLY didnt want them but when we went to the DJ DH said he REALLY wanted them so we did it.

it ended up being a really funny part of the night LOL
