How many of you are wearing a fake wedding band on your honeymoon? w/ a pic of mine

This is the one I picked because I don't want to take the chance of losing mine when I'm swimming (maybe I'm crzy-- but it was only $29.99!)

I think I am going to do it as well, I am very paranoid...I want to be able to just get up and go to the beach and swim and not worry about my ring. I haven't gotten a fake set yet.

JC PENNEY online -- it was on sale..they had a couple of other options too
This one is sterling silver plated with platinum...I figured it would do the job-- but I opted to not get a fake engagement ring.

I am too paranoid also! I just don't want to have to worry about my rings on our HM. I am getting this set (looks the closest to what I've got). $45 on amazon.com!

I bought these at Kohl's for 6.99 each and used a 15% coupon!. They don't match my exactly but for the money the will certainly do. Check their website for other styles you can mix and match.

Im not worried about loosing mine. I went on a cruise after we got engaged and I wore my e-ring and didnt worry about it once. I think having insurance on them gives me piece of mind. I mean, I would be very upset if I lost my origional rings, but at least I'd have the insurance to fall back on.
But if you need the replica rings to make you more comfortable, GO FOR IT! Im sure that no one will even know the difference.

I have two bands (one solid platinum that matches FH's) and one diamond.

I'm leaving the diamond band and my engagement ring at home. We'll wear our matching bands on our honeymoon.

I was worried at first, but it's your wedding band. My mother wears hers all the time. There's a safe in the room you can put your E Ring and wedding band to leave during the day while you're at the pool or beach then when you go to nice dinners at night you can wear your own. I had no problems in Hawaii with both.

I also met another girl on the HM that just wore a plain wedding band during the day at the pool so she had something on and left the real diamonds in the safe. Unless you're traveling for a long time in unsafe areas I think you'll be fine. Think of how many celebrities or people where their expensive jewelry when they travel

I think I'll do this. I'm not going to want to leave my rings home for the whole week. I'll just wear the fake band to the pool/beach so my rings don't get dirty. There's a safe in the suite and I'm comfortable leaving it there. Plus there's the insurance.
