I found out accidentally through a survey email sent by my aunt. I'm a little upset that I found out. It turns out that the first birthday party for my friends son is on the same day that the email said my shower was on. So the B-day party is a cover.
Should I say something to my mom when it's over or keep it to myself?

I knew people do not know how to do keep surprises. I used to work at a lounge and the rented upstairs for parties but not SO often, and they always asked me to work for the parties. Well the night before the owner was taking bear and liquor upstairs for a party the next day. They asked me to work on Sat (my night off) but not for the party but instead for the lounge...so that gave it away. But my shower was SO nicely put together, another sad note was that my mom broke her digital cam and everything was on the disposable cams which I have misplaced.

i kind of have a feeling of when it will be. Nobody ruined the surprise, but I kinda figured it out. Even if I'm right, I'll never tell.

I knew about it the whole time because my MOH(sister) lives in Philadelphia and wasnt taking initiative to set it up so DH's cousin took control on her own and I felt responsible to help her since it shouldnt have been up to her to put it together. Thank God for DH's cousin, she was a God send during my wedding when no one wanted to step up.
Im not one who cares for surprises. Of course I wouldnt mind one but it wasnt a big deal that I knew about the b-shower at all. I was still very excited.

I had a big idea. I dont really like surprises I actually hate them so it worked out that I at least knew the weekend that both my shower and bachlorette party fell in.

I knew - I didn't want it to be surprise. All I wanted was to know the date and time. The location and guests were a total surprise.

I knew the weekend it was going to be, but i was surprised when it was a Friday Night.... i fugured it out on my way to the shower, but at that point i was just super excited that i did not care that i figured it out.

i found out about mine, they tried to surprise me, but people have a hard time keeping it quiet.
I had 1 person tell me ooo i got you invite 4 you shower and they are really cute.
I even had one lady call me the day of my shower, asking for dh and wanting directions, ummm hello why would you be asking for dh when you barely know him
i didnt tell anybody i knew except for dh, i let them think i didnt know, until i got inside, theni told them, plus the cover story was really stechy

i figured a lot of it out - i still cried, i still was overwhelmed, i still was surprised to see a lot of people there.....i loved it! i wish i could do it again hahaha

No one breathed a word. I drove past my parents house on the way to a wedding.
There was a giant tent in their back yard. Like, a tent for 60 people. Visible from Rte. 25.
They actually thought DH would be able to convince me that the other road was a better route to Orient. It's not. You'd have to be an idiot not to drive past my parents house to get from our house to Orient. Plus, DH has absolutely zero sense of direction. He doesn't even know what town he's in most of the time, especially out East.
