i dont think its terribly hard to change your name yourself... im not sure how it works but i dunno if id be totally okay giving a site all our info...

no idea what that is. it was not really hard to change my name at all. i would be careful with anything where you input your personal info.

I know you the option to leave out certain info such as SS#'s passport#'s etc. I just wondered if it was easier to have people make up letters for the banks (mortgages, accounts etc.) and the forms filled out (mostly) & then send them out. Thanks for the opinions. Appreciate it.

PS> For those who dont know.. Its a site that you can do your name change. They provide allof the forms & you put in any info you want or leave out what yo want & then they save it as a PDF & then you print it out with all instructions & mail it. Thought it may be a goo idea. Im goign to ask teh 08ers too. Thanks : )

Ignorant question/suggestion...I'm assuming that you have to pay for this service on the site?

Because I'm sure if you google the forms yourself, you can find pre-made pdfs to print yourself. I would imagine at least

bc fh & i dont own too much yet... i dont think it would be a big hassle... but id def do it if you will have alot to change over

i think its something like 30-40 bucks
