how many of you ladies??

how many of you ladies have fh that had their heart set on a venue without even seeing it yet??? mine is in love with the thatched cottage. if so which venues were they in love with unseen

I fell in love with one and was set & convinced we were going to book it - we went to visit it and I was disappointed! On the opposite, when I see pictures of my venue, they don't do it justice. You need to experience the feeling you get when you walk into these places. :)

We're set on North Ritz Club and haven't looked anywhere else. We are going to see it tonight and have a friend who will be showing us around. I feel like we are going to book it either way!

thanks girls yeah he has his heart set on the thatched cottage and he pretty much thinks thats where we will end up booking we will find out in april i guess when we start looking!

You should start looking next month, especially if November is the time of year you're planning on having your wedding, so you can see what the place looks like at that time of the year!

Then again, I'm also saying that because I wouldn't be able to wait until April to start looking

We looked at Thatched Cottage online and fell in LOVE. We finally went and saw it and have to admit, I wasn't wowed. It didn't give me that immediate feeling that I was hoping to get. We ended up looking at another venue & we walked in and just knew it was the one! Best of luck to you.

I loved the North Ritz Club the moment I saw it. It is wonderful to have one wedding at a time and staff has been awesome with helping plan everything..... 3months to go for me

I guess it's all about experience...we went to NRC the other day and the guy who showed us around really turned us off. The venue was gorgeous but we were there for no longer than 5 minutes, not even exaggerating :(

haha same with my fiance! we went to see a few venues but Thatched Cottage was one we definitely adored. He doesn't want to even go look at others because he loved it so much! Did anyone get quotes for Thatched Cottage for May???
