I'm just curious how many actually registered for fine china. I REALLY don't want to, but my FSIL says that i have to, even if its plain, everyday china. But seriously, i don't like china at all and i wouldn't use it. I have 6 settings from Crate & Barrel (clear glass) and i'd rather just register for 6 more. What do you think?
I got it b/c everyone we know displays their china in the china cabinet. Our parents would be damned if we broke tradition! I myself don't see the point. If I use them (and that's a big IF) it would only be for major holidays and those are usually held at my parents house so I wouldn't use them anyways! I have alot of everyday dinnerware on my registry b/c that's what I'll be using more often. You can do what you're comfortable with.
I didn't want to at first either. My mom convinced me when she said, its something you'd never buy for your self. Its true and who's to say down the road I wouldn't want it. So, I did and I'm actually VERY excited to use it. You absolutley don't HAVE to though.
I didn't want to but FH & FMIL basically made me. I personally don't see it even making it out of the box until we are in a house & then it will go right into the china closet....personally I see it as a waste, but whatever.
