Pick your BM dresses for ten girls? along with shoes?

Not me. I absolutely loved having my girls' input! Plus, I just feel that if they are wearing the dress all day/night I want them to be comfortable. We all went dress shopping twice and it was so fun. We picked a dress that looked great on everyone and it just so happened to be my top choice!!!!

I also liked having my girls tell me what they like (even though it got to be too much!). In the end, I want to pick dresses that they are happy with. So far, they like what I like! As for shoes, I think I am going to tell them that they can pick any kind of silver shoes they want as long as they like them. It doesn't really matter too much to me.

the reason why I ask is that I am a BM in my frineds wedding ( I am friends with the guy) and at first the bride was said we could wear any dress that we wanted and then she changed her mind-is picking out the dresses, shoes, etc-we have no choice...

i have been a bridesmaid in weddings - where the bride has told us what dress and where to get it - and where the bride dragged 7 girls in and out of stores weekend after weekend - honestly - i like being told. it is much less drama.
i also plan on picking the dress and telling them locations they can buy it.

i would never do that...
i want my girls to feel comfortable the day of, so i wouldnt want them to have to wear a dress that they felt self conscious in... then they wouldnt be able to enjoy themselves at the wedding... and i would especially not pick out shoes for them because everyone's feet are different and i would hate for them to be in pain all day... i would however suggest a style that i want them to have if i really cared (ex open toe vs close toe) jmo
