WE ARE PAYING CASH FOR EVERYTHING ALSO. I AM HOPING WE HAVE AT LEAST 5,000 LEFT OVER PLUS THE ENVELOPES. I HATE SEEING THE MONEY LEAVING THE BANK ACOUNTS...

THIS IS CRUNCH TIME FOR ME AND ITS SO STRESSFUL!

FH and I set aside certain dollar amount each month to go and pay off the vendors. This way, everyone will be paid off before the wedding. I HATE making payments, but we have to! I wish I learned more about saving when I was a kid and being neurotic about money like FH

We are also paying for our wedding in cash and besides my parents paying for part of the wedding (probably about 1/3), we will still have money in the bank. I would never count on the gifts I receive to be my money in the bank. You should never expect anything from people and you don't know what you are going to get.

FH & I are paying for the entire wedding/hm by ourselves...We have paid everything in cash & it is truly sad to see all the money leaving the account (been sitting in there for almost 2 years). We do have $$ leftover at the end! We made sure of this incase we needed 'emergency' money

We had money left over after paying everyone. We also paid cash and I was actually surprised at how much we had left. We did a really good job saving.

We are paying for everything in cash... I refused to put any wedding stuff on credit cards, but we won't have anything left over.... the savings will have have to start all over again!
Any monetary gifts we recieve will go towards paying other debt we have.

According to my budget, we'll have about $5,000 left over since we went under budget on a lot and we've been saving every month. But alas, this will be spent rather quickly on either the HM, or new furniture.

We may have a very small amount of money left over, but not much. That's okay with us though because we're only having a year engagement (which didn't leave us that much time to save) and we already have a house, so we're not in any kind of financial mess.

We're paying for the wedding ourselves and we're paying cash so yes, we will have $$ left over. FH is a huge saver and I've become one just by his influence.

Were having a Vow blessing we were never married in the Cathoic Church so my dh decideds he wants to make his communion and confirmation last year and we were told we had to do a Vow Blessing in the church as if we were never married.

Dh said after 11 years to take this as our vow renewal and to do it up.

We will have very little left over. We are paying for everything in cash. It's hard but we're managing it. We already have a 'family' that we're raising together so it gets sticky at times. I can't wait until AFTER the wedding so I can start saving again.

We're paying for almost everything in cash, so our wedding gifts are ours to keep. We purposely opted out of Hawaii as not to come back to debt since the HM is the one thing we are charging. I'm stil DP about missing out on Hawaii, but we don't own a home yet, so I know in the end, it is the best decision for us.

we felt the same way.. but we said frig it.. its our honeymoon, you only do this once!

We are pay everything in cash... The HM was the only thing put on credit, I just paid half the balance on the HM and doesn't have to be paid in full till June so we'll pay that off in cash as well.
We are also in the middle of purchasing a home. Should be closing in June.... So our gift money will be going into our savings account, and then probably go towards the house But it will all be well worth it in the end.
Never thought i would be this fortunate to purchase a house and get married at the same time. But we worked our BUTTS off!!
