ie...magazines, tv, party planning...anything where you can use your imagination? I am a creative person by nature, and my job is so mundane. The only good thing about it, is that they are more or less flexible with my auditions and acting classes. Do any of you know of any other day jobs I could do besides this? I'm thinking of changing jobs maybe after the wedding. It's just a thought, but I figured I would start to see what's out there....
i used to be a NYC stylist but unfortunately had to go back to HR since it pays the bills much better! i know your pain!!!

I know that's not considered a traditional creative field but I have to be super creative on a regular basis.
My daughter took classes at F.I.T. this summer (she's 15) and she spends all of her time designing new outits and sewing. She's been making skinny jeans for the past week. She's up to two pairs (she's so cute!!!!)
i am a graphic designer, web editor and photographer all creative but where I work it is limited. The pay ***** too so I guess it all depends on what you would do and where. If i went to the city I would be making $$$$ BUT I don't want to waste my life away on a train and then when we have kids then what. Where I work there is daycare right there, still have to pay for it but it is about a two minute walk from where my office is. Its steady work and I don't have to be a bill collector (freelance side of my field).

Well you know what I do. I'm a Photo Editor for a Magazine in the city. Photographer and Designer on the side. Decide what is the most important thing to you, money or loving your job. I do alright, and I love working in a creative field. Its tough and competitive though. You really have to start at the bottom and work your way up. I would say go for it! If you see something you want to try, just do it!![]()
I am a graphic designer but, the job I am at now isn't too creative and with wedding plans I have no time to look for a new one....
