FH is STILL at work and there is no sign of him stopping. I appreciate all the dedication but I hate these late nights. Any of you in my shoes?

I'm kind of in your shoes. My FH is sleeping right now. He has to be at work at 3am
Hoepfully his schedule will change soon and we can actually watch something on tv together til 10

no. my FH gets to stay at home. he does internet sales on the computer. he is self employed wish i could stay at home. he works late on the comp sometimes.

Kind of in the same situation as you... FH leaves the house around 9:45pm, and returns home at 8am.

I totally Understand! and I feel for you. I hated winter time because I know his schedule gets crazy. However this year we have a double edge sword, he's home this winter not working extended hours and ridiculous overtime and overnights, but he's injured.

It's funny because he switched jobs, he used to work even later but for some reason now it gets to me more. I can't cook for one person!

Yup. FH's hours are 5:30-1:30am. He leaves for work at 4 and gets home around 2.
He's working on changing his schedule where he has some mid shifts so he'll be home around 9. I hope it goes through

i will be joining your lonely club in the summer
DH works 6AM to 11PM all summer long. . . for now he is home all day though so i am trying to enjoy it BUT its hard to enjoy when I know that from April to October I will never see him

Awww We both carpool 7:30 - 3:30 but occasionally he has to go away for work for a week or so and I hate that. I feel for you girls I don't know how you do it, I give you alot of credit!!

He work up at the Casino in Yonkers in the food deparment. Its not fun at all and at times I get really depressed and we fight about it. But becoming a chef was his dream and I applied to the school for him. I knew what I was getting into, I just think I underestimated how hard it would be. I mean it isnt even that bad now because I still live at home, but when we're on our own, I'll be ALL by myself.

I can totally relate! FH is a mortgage broker and works with a lot of people on the west coast so he works from about 830-930/10. I give him a lot of credit bc I know I would NEVER be able to work 12+ hrs a day. I hope this tones down after the wedding

i understand - i feel your pain
my FH works in finance - his day always starts around 7am - 6:30pm is him getting out EARLY!!!! thats almost 12 hours at work right there and that is when he gets our EARLY....he has worked until after 10pm on quite a few occasions - anytime he is there past 9 he gets a car home which is nice and he makes serious overtime but i miss him

FH works 2-12am 4 days a week. It ***** and I dont know how Im gonna deal with our schedules clashing when he moves in. He'll stay up til 4-5 in the morning and I have to be up by 9.

and that is 7 days a week

FHs schedule rotates, so one week he will work 8am-4pm and the following he will work 4pm - midnight. It kind of *****, but I actually work worse hours.
I work in finance, so sometimes I'll work from 730am until 11 or 12 at night (on a couple of occassions, all night) He's the one telling me to hurry up and come home!!!
With our schedules, sometimes we really won't see eachother for a week at a time it stinks.
