How many pages are your wedding scrapbooks?

I'm working on a book that begins with our engagement pics, covers all the planning details of the big day and will end with a page or two of our first anniversary trip.

I'm up to the reception now, and still have about 15 more pages or so to create, and already my book barely closes all the way! I guess that's normal? I'd hate to split up these pages since they tell the story of the entire wedding

My only other idea is to put the honeymoon pages in a separate album.....

For those that have finished theirs, what have you done?

My album starts with my shower ( my engagement was already in my other album of the 2 of us) and ends with our wedding--- It is a little over 50 pages but it is a CM album and still has a bit of room to expand--

If the album is really too big I would suggest splitting it as you dont know over time what that bulge might do to all your hard work---

What kind of album? is there a way to extend it ? might be worth looking into

Mine is 33 pages - I just finished it this weekend!! Sorry no pics yet. I used a CM 12x12 Promises album. I added 3 refill pages to it and may add more. The CM albums are expandable.

I started with one page of pics of our engagement in Philly, 2 pages of the shower, (I didnt have any good pics of our small eparty), one page of the rehearsal dinner, one page of our wedding invitation, then the book is mostly wedding pics...the last 6 pages are honeymoon and the final pages are anniversary dinner at River Cafe in Brooklyn. I may add some more wedding proofs.

Teri, what kind of album are you using? Can it be expanded with post extenders?

It's a K&Co. album. It's post bound and technically expandable, although the cover doesn't now lay flat against the book....it kinda just stays up in the air a bit!

My book will easily have 50 pages so maybe that's my problem....I'd really hate to split it up though.....

This would be a total pain, but there are fillers you can put between the pages to even it out a bit. They are thin strips of cardboard with holes punched in to put in the albums.

I still didnt start mine! all I do is keep buying stuff
