I had 22 total in our bp, however we didnt do family we just picked those we are close to such as friends, well Dh had his brother as best man and i did have 2 cousins but i am very close to them and grew up with them so thats why. Otherwise even if i was told i had to have other bp members i wouldve said no to my family.

And yeah just bc you have more ppl doesnt mean theres more drama, everyone assumes more ppl will equal drama bc they see other girls on here who have lets say 3-5 girls and had a hard time with dresses and other drama. I didnt have 17 girls but with 9 girls i have to say we picked the dress in 30 mins and it was so easy, they all loved the same dress, went one time and were done quickly and never had drama throughout the entire planning process. They all got along, most know eachother well and most are all good friends, and no drama with dh and i vs bp. He had 11 guys and also no problems at all.

EXACTLY! thank you! some people have the feeling that it's going to be a circus. yes, it's a lot of ppl, but it all works out. and i can agree with you on the BM situation. it took a few days to go back and forth with everyone with emails and what not, but worked out perfectly.

btw you looked absolutely STUNNING on your day!
