Inviting to your Bridal Shower.??? I'm inviting about 300 ppl to the weeding and my sister/MOH asked for my bridal shower list. i made one but i have about 85 ppl / 15 from OOT that probably wont show. is it too many?

My mother told me to try and stay at no more than 50 since it's going to be at her house. My list came out to 45 (but I don't expect that all of them will come).

Our wedding invite list is pretty small...120...so my shower list was 40 (with some OOT)....I believe it ended up being an even 30....
The way I see it: it's your once in lifetime event, do what you want! If you want 80 then 80 it is

i'm not planning on inviting any of the OOT guests because i dont want them to feel obligated to send a gift.
im inviting 250 peopel to my wedding and my shower list is at about 60 but we have a TON of OOT guests.

I threw a bridal shower this past summer and one thing I will say is that especially in the summer people will say no, they may or may not send a gift, but plan for quite a few no's and invite based on who you know will come
