How many people Brown Bag to work?

we just had this discussion at work......

literally 88% of us brown bag to work majority of the week, except fridays when we all generally order out together.......

bad enough in this economy...let alone in addition to saving for a wedding!!!!!! Brown bagging is the way to go, except if subway or chineese is mentioned.

I actually go home for lunch......I only live about 10 minutes from my office.

I work at a restaurant so I don't really NEED to brown bag it but when I'm not feeling the food at work, I will bring my own stuff. (rarely haha)

FH and I both brown bag. He does get pizza on Fridays. . . I save my pizza for dinner. Yum.

I say its kinda 50-50. I try to bring it a couple times a week at least but sometimes I just get tired of it.

i've been bringing lean cuisines in ... before that, i was going out daily (usually for a wrap or something)

brown-bagging def saves money and more importantly, it's WAAAY healthier (700 calorie wrap vs 300 calorie pasta) ... granted the wrap was much more filling but that's a diff story

I do, usually 4 days a week. Sometimes 5.

If I don't bring my lunch, it's Subway or soup from Au Bon Pain for me.

I should, especially because lunch is so expensive in midtown, but I rarely do it because i'm super lazy.

i do both. so does fh..

fh usually bring left overs form the night before to work.. but he also has 2 brekafasts, 2 lunches and a snack..so he buys food

and i sometimes eat my bagged lunch on the way to work during my 8 minute commute..

i live close, so i try to go home most days. if not i usually bring a lean cuisine or leftovers. every once in a while (not even once a week) i might buy lunch.... its been a huge $$ saver!

I brown bag it most days mostly to save money but also to eat healthy
