How many people make a party?

How many people make a party?

So we are doing an encore of the reception. It will be on a smaller scale. Do you think 40-50 people is enough to have people dancing and just having a good time. I am paranoid of one of those moments we fear as teenagers where we have a party but not enough people are there to 'dance'.

I would think so, but it depends on how big the space is really.....

As long as you have your friends & family you want there.....It's a party!!! Those 40-50 people will want to have agood time with you to celebrate, so if you are dancing, they will be too!! Have a blast!!

40-50 is fine, especilaly if they're all great people who you love and the space is appropriate.

I think that is plenty!! If you think of it, a party is only a party of you have the right people there. I would only need me, my sister in law, my best friend, my mom, and my aunts and that's a PARTY!!! And that's only 6 or 7 people. Have fun!!!

I think 40 - 50 will be fine as long as the space is not too big. I had around 65 at my Engagement party and the dance floor was HUGE. Made the place seem too empty which deterred people from dancing as much as they would have (I think, anyway) if the room had been slightly smaller.

40-50 people definitely makes a party as long as they are the type of people that party/dance.
