How many people stayed loyal to one real estate agent?

No way!! We had one for just about every county we looked in for our Jersey search.

That would make sense, you were looking in a very diverse area. I am thinking more for people who are staying in one particular area.
I'm also considering RE school so I'm wondering what the loyalty is like out there.

I didn't. If there is a house I see on MLS I contact the listing agent. I have probably met and spoken to over 20 agents since February. I am looking in the same area too.

I'm a bit surprised, I know the agents give the loyal clients a heads up right away about a house they may like. I'd want to be on someone's call first list.

We stayed loyal to one agent - it never occurred to us to more than one. It worked out perfectly for us. We were very happy with our agent and with our new house!

We started out that way, but it seemd that our first agent really was useless. So we contacted some others and, I guess b/c we couldn't spend a lot, they really didn't try too hard. All just kept sending us the same listings we could find ourselves on MLSLI. We ended up working with a guy we really liked and really felt he was trying to help us. Maybe if we'd found him first, we'd have been more loyal.

We did. Our agent spent so much time with us that I woul have felt terrible using someone else. We were only looking in one area and she knew that area really well, so there was no reason to use another agent.

Never used one particular agent. I found my house by going to an open house. Before that I had gone to a lot of open houses and had plenty of agents calling me but only called them back if they had something particular that sounded really interesting.

We did - and she was awesome! Even helped us scrape paint off the sides of the garage.

I found my first house online but had already signed with a buyers broker. It worked out well because there was lots of legwork for him to do so he totally earned his commish! We also called him to sell that house and he found us our current home. I wouldn't use anyone else unless I was leaving NY.

i use msli and call the listing agents for those houses. not many agents do the work i would expect them to do for me to be loyal to them. i hate wasting time. i want a house and i want it now and its only going ot happen if i do the work my self

we are using a friend of the family, so we have and will remain loyal.
i actually act as my own agent at times, scour the sites, listings, check the property and tax stats on the town site and then contact her.
