We REALLY, REALLY want to keep the wedding to 200 - 210 TOPS. How many people should we invite to ensure we get NO MORE than that?????
I'm thinking 235.

There's no sure fire way to guarantee a certain number. If you only want 210 then you could try inviting 230ish. But you're always gambling. You never know though, they could all say yes!

One of the banquet managers we spoke to told us that there's a 15% drop off rate. Hope that helps.

If you want to keep it there, don't invite more than 5 or 10 over. You are gambling either way. We wanted to keep our list to 125 and it grew to 170. I am praying we get no more than 130 to 135.
