how many people to your wedding?

Just curious - I'm travelling over from UK with just my OH no other family coming - at our request - we adore our family but we really didn't want a big 'do' so decided just the two of us!

Guess I'm just being really nosy

we invited 571 and 519 showed up.. and that too my inlaws swear they cut down the list.. i thought less people would show up since there was another wedding in our circle on that day.. but we sent out save the dates way earlier so they ended up at our wedding..

Blimey, you guys are having heaps of people to your weddings!!

I never really wanted a big do - just the two of us and a nice family meal when we get back to the UK!!

There is nothing wrong with that! My sister had 36 people in total at her wedding, just immediate family on both sides and one or two very close friends. She said she only wanted people she truly loved at her wedding, and I thought it was great.

Not everyone in NY does it up like a lot of people on here (myself included) are. Don't feel bad at all. I think your way is beautiful!
