How many people were at your shower?

I had about 35-40 women at my shower

I don't know how many are invited (it's a secret!) to mine, but this thread reminded me of a post I read on the knot a while back....

A girl had a shower (she knew about it) and her family sent out invites etc.....and no one showed up...it was just the bride to be, her mom and 2 elderly aunts or something like that....and all the food was set out, decorations up etc.....I swear I almost cried when I read that. The bride to be was so hurt....

I had 2 showers b/c my DH's family is from out of the country. The one we had here had about 60 women and the one his family gave me had about 25-30 women. So many showers, so little time!!! I miss it all now!!

I wrote up the list for my mom and its at 100. I know she is doing something fishy so I expect more than 120! Our wedding list is big: 250+
