I have already registered at Fortunoff's & Pier1. I want to register at Macy's for all my cookware and possibly at Crate & Barrell. Is that too many stores??

Technically you can register at as many places as you want. But before doing so I would sit down and consider exactly what it is that you are registering for at all these places. Are there duplicate items? Do any of the stores only have a few items? You might want to reconsider those then. Four isn't too bad though - IMO.

I registered at Target and Fortuneoff, and then FI's grandmother told us she will only buy at MAcy's so we had to register there ( but we only put a few things on the registry), probably wont even announce it to anyone but her and some others and I SOOOO want to register at Pier one b/c they have things you cant get anywhere else...so in my opion, what does it matter if you register at 4 places for 200 things or one place for 200 things....

i say 3, more work and effort has to go into more then that.... if they are different types of stores, i could understand but most big places sell similar (if not the same) things
