How many places to people register at? So far, we have Blomingdales, Crate and Barrel, and Bed Bath and Beyond. We were thinking of adding Fortunoff but I think 4 is too many.

We are registering at 3 definitly and I am still undecided about the 4. But we don't live together and have never lived by ourselves so we need EVERYTHING so I think we might wind up registering at 4, the way I look at it is that you are just giving people more of an option.
We are registering at Fortunoff, Bloomingdales and Crate & Barrel and still deciding about Williams Sonoma for cook books

right now we are registered at 3-Macys, Fortunoffs and BBB
(havent added much to BBB yet mostly many of the kitchen gadgets that we love)

Macys (fine china and linens), Williams Sonoma (good cookware, misc cooking items, knives), and Crate and Barrell (less expensive items perfect for a shower gift etc.)
We tried to get all price points. I highly recommend registering online! Visit the stores to get a feel for what you like but online is the way to go. SO EASY and you can edit, update at anytime.

I am just registered at BBB they have the best prices and have everything. also their coupons never expire.

3 seems to be the popular number these days.... I say go for it! if there's something you really want and it's not at one of your 3 do what you and your FH want... register at 4!
we are registered at 3 and debated a 4th.

I had only registered at 2 - BBB and Macy's, but that was me not wanting to go around to a bunch of different stores and doing the whole registry thing. Many people register at 3. But doing 4 is completely fine. Like someone else said, it gives your guests more of an option of where they want to go to purchase a gift.

I really think it's ok to register at as many places as you want. It just gives people more options when deciding where to shop for your gift.

I'm doing 4, I never thought I would it just happened. I just heard from someone that it's not a good idea b/c then gift cards are spread out, and it may be hard to purchase remaining items. If no one is buying off one registry, I may move things.
