Can you at least tell us which vendors you used so we can ask you for opinions since we know they'll be honest?

when I met with photographers they all quoted me saying you get around 600-1400 photos. I think 600 is very low but very common. but for a photographer being there 8 hours... I think there should be closer to 1000. Otherwise it is only like 1 photo per minute

however, as long as they cover their ground and get great photos of everything you want then why does it matter how many??

I hope my photographer gets all the family photos all the details (cocktail hour food, cake, flowers, cards) and all the important moments (toasts, first dance, father, friends, kissing, ceremony) but im so worried many of these items will be left out. i heard most photographers ignore cocktail hour entirely....

then i guess im fine. i didnt have parent dances,bok toss, garter and we took veryyy limited BP pics.

family/bp pics were 30 min total. we sent them to the RH while dh and i stayed for another hour at OWG so we can get photgraphed alone.

so 667 should be fineee?

I am not overly thrilled at all with my pics and it really su*ks. I know why some shots were missed and that was my hair persons fault because she made me late. But it's the special effects pictures that there just aren't enough of on my edited proofs and I dont know why when other brides on here have beautiful pics.

it sounds like a lot, but..... what they did is take like 5 shots of 1 pose. I guess to make sure you are looking at the camera or to make sure the right angle is there ? I have no idea. So it's not as many as it seems to be

Yeah you are fine.

You are probably going to have 600 gorgeous different photos. Rather than (no offense) but 2000 that you have to sort through because there are 5 of every photo... that is kind of what happened with my engagement photos. There were over 100 photos... but there were really only 30 i loved and a lot of the photos were like in groups of threes where it was the picture, the picture turned to black and white and then like very similar to the picture.

we have 2300 waiting for us if we can EVER get to westchester to pick them up
