Thanks girls!

Does anyone have the layout of a typical catholic ceremony too?

There are 2 readings done by family or friends, and then the 3rd reading is done by the priest.

If you're just having the ceremony, it's basically like this:

Prelude (music, walking mothers, etc. down aisle)
Processional (BP and bride)
Opening Prayer
1st Reading
Responsorial Psalm (can be sung or read)
2nd Reading
Gospel (priest or deacon only)
Homily
Prayers of the Faithful (can be done by readers or celebrant)
Exchange of Vows. rings. Nuptial/final blessing
Recessional

A Mass followings the above format but after the Exchange of vows, etc. there is the Liturgy of the Eucharist. (i.e. Communion), a final blessing and then the recessional.

Ceremony = 30 minutes approx.
Full Mass= about an hour

I would check your book you received at Pre-Cana, I may have some of the Nuptial parts of the ceremony not exact.... I've never doen it before! (and only intend to do it once!)

FM if you need more info.

We needed 3 also.

Some priests will do the prayer of the faithful themselves, you have to ask.
