We just started looking a RH last week and have seen 2. We are seeing 4 more this week. I had an original list of 8 places but i really found a place that i liked 'Lombardi on the sound'... Should i keep looking or go with my gut feeling i have and book the one i feel in love with? Advice? lol thanks all!!

I looked at 9. I thought I liked some of the first ones I saw until I saw the 9th! Putting a deposit down on Thursday

I was worried about that too, but the RH keep telling me, oh 2012 we definitely have dates available, so don't stress too much. And I will HOPEFULLY be putting down a deposit at North Ritz Club!!

We looked at 3 and after lands end, FH said that was the place and refused to look anymore lol.
I went to Lombardis on the sound for NYE. Food was OFF THE HOOK!!!!

I agree that there is no real number. I was planning on checking out a lot of different places but I fell in love with the second place that I went to. I went to one more place and then went back and booked the 2nd! And the best part is that it was in our budget

I went to 2 places... Harbor Club and Riviera... but after seeing the Harbor Club there was NO question thats where I wanted!

I had a list of over 30 places....saw about 6, the 6th being the Sand Castle and FELLLL INNN LOOOOVVEE. I then went home and cut down my list ALOT. Took off places that i was Iffy about...and those that are just too far. I pretty much wanna see 2 more and then i'm puting a depost down on the SC.
I don't think there is a set number you should see, if you find THE PLACE, book it!

i initially tabbed up a wedding mag thinking we wld see as many places as possible..but we actually visited about 7 places and once we LOVED one, we just kneww

Ah, Im not too sure about this. We went to about 10 or maybe even more. I thought I was in love with the first one, it was a beach theme like i always wanted, and just beautiful --but decided since I cant make decisions to keep on looking. Nothing compared to it at all, so we were about to book at the first, with a few others we were torn between.. then something crazy happen.
we went to the last place (before booking with the first), completely different from what I wanted..not on the beach at all... and I fell in love!
So, id say keep looking until you ABSOLUTELY know..not just kind of sure. cause..we almost cancelled looking at the last place (the place we are now booked at)

I'm a comparison shopper -- I refused to make a decision until I had seen all 10 places on my list. The question is, though, if you *had* booked that first beachy place and cancelled looking at the last place, would you be less happy now... or at your wedding? Would you be double-guessing your decision? If you try to exhaustively prove that you haven't missed a better place, you'll drive yourself craaaaazy!
I'm a gut instinct need to have this now kinda shopper lol.. im trying to be a comparison shopper for everything else though or this wedding will cost us a million dollars lol

I looked at 14 places.....i liked about 3 or 4 alot but I was personally looking for a specific date, inside and outside preferences, and a good price.
