I have soo many on my list. I need a place that is going to be great for a reall, really good price, this is my reason for wanting to look at soooo many. But, I wanted to know also is did you look at more then one in a day? I am miss organized and trying to do things in a strech of a few days, I don't want to travel over and over agin with these gas prices,

Re: How many Rhs did you look at?
I looked at 3 places. We didnt go to any in the same day, but if i had looked at more places, I definitely would have tried to schedule them more than one in the same day. Try to map out the locations of the ones you like and plan to do a few on the same day. Don't make yourself too stressed...you will find the one you love for the right price!

Re: How many Rhs did you look at?
i looked at 2 in one weekend. stewart manor on a saturday by appt. and then i walked into jericho terrace without an appt. and I was taken by it-I had to have it there!! So...sure you can have more than one hall in a day or a weekend. Why not?

Re: How many Rhs did you look at?
have you considered Roma View in queens? Its down the block from Russo's...they have a huge room and its right on the water AND from what I heard, theyre very good with prices cheaper than russos but still has the beautiful view

Roma View used to be Tony Roma's actually I had my communion dinner there hehehe that was 18 yrs ago...but yeah now its a catering hall for different things-weddings, christenings, engagement parties etc. Check out their website. I think they might be on nycweddings.com

I need a place that will cost under $100 pp after taxes and gratuity, thats the first thing. Ceremony onsite and decorates it, not something I want to wrooy about and then your basics but, I'd love things thrown in, like mini vienese, did I spell that right?, Choc fountian and what ever else. I know I really want to look at The Riviera and Milleredge cottage and Carriage house and quite a few more for other reason!

Re: How many Rhs did you look at?
did you try leonards? My friend got married there and the spread was really great. The bridal suite was beautiful. it smelled like roses-plus she told me the plates came out to like 110 total including everything. Plus a cake..something to think about. a few girls on here are having their wedding there also-you might want to ask them. I think its a great place!

Re: How many Rhs did you look at?
I looked at 30 catering halls Sometimes I went to 2--4 a day I am on a tight budget and I was trying to find the most bang for the least buck...There is no way I would look at that many if I had to do it again. I'm happy with our choice

Re: How many Rhs did you look at?
I'm a Leonard's bride!!! Check out my album for some pics I took. We are having the ceremony onsite too...they have an outdoor area, it's okay but they have a beautiful indoor chapel room! It comes decorated too. I think the place is beautiful! I got a great price for a Sunday night! I was definately searching halls based on cost and this place fit the bill. Good luck planning!

Re: How many Rhs did you look at?
I think its gorgeous there. The only reason why I didnt want to get married there is because my friend had her wedding there in Aug, and I felt like i was copying her. she was like oh please i dont care. but its definately beautiful. wait till you get there on your wedding day-im teling you that bridal suite had aromatherapy in it or something! It was soo nice!
