well figure out how many OOT guests you will have and maybe even start asking them about it now...after that it will be easy to estimate about how many rooms you will need
ummm im not sure when but i know that hotels fill up fast. my cousin is getting married at atlantis marine world and she tried one hotel in riverhead holiday inn i believe but believe it or not for sept. 07 they were all filled up thats why i was wondering

i am doing about 20 since i dont have to pay anything they just release them a certain time before - i definitely won't need that many though!
when you book rooms..usually there is a minimum of 10 rooms.a.nd you do not have to put anything down ..no money will be spent on your end..they will give you a number or just have your gests book it under the so and so wedding..and if you dont get all 10 booked i believe the rate isnt discounted..but if you reserve say 15 rooms and 10 get booked..then the other 5 will be released a week before and you are not responsible for any unbooked rooms

We're blocking 20 rooms, and if we need more or less, we'll figure it out later.....Just check with the hotel when they need their RSVP, because for us, if our oot guests did not confirm by 3 weeks before the wedding, they'll give out the rooms.
