are you blocking??

I am going to end up needing about 30-35 rooms...seems like alot

we were only guaranteed 10 but as those fill up they will add 10 more. i will need a lot of rooms so i have been telling everyone to book the rooms ASAP so we get more added before the hotel fills up.

i booked at 4 different hotels ($189, $159, $159, $139) so there were different price ranges. only about 15% of our guests are from ny and our list is at 275 right now so i know we will need those rooms!

We were only able to block 20 at a time but as they filled up we were able to reblock rooms so that we would always have 20 empty rooms available. So, even though our wedding isn't until next August, we made sure to have all of our close family and friends book their rooms already so that by the time our extended family gets around to it our block will still have open rooms.

15 and then they will add as needed. That was actually the reason for the STD

We were only allowed to block 10 at a time and then once the 10 are filled they add more in 5 room increments.

our hotel blocks in 10's.....if 10 fill then they block another 10 and so on. whatever we dont use is just released

I only blocked 8 so far, but I am going to go up to 15 because I found out I have more out of towners than I thought.
