I am having 12 tables plus 1 for interviews and favors. So I approximate 8 -10 per tables or 4-5 couples.

Re: how many tables?
I thought 10 but reception hall said 8 per table so people aren't climbing on each other.

I had 12 tables, 10 per table.
Myasmom, please do not crowd that room with too many tables.
I had the same room you are having.
Why don't you put the favors on the tables?

Re: how many tables?
My tables can hold up to 14 people, but I am going to try and do 10 to a table to give people room!

Re: how many tables?
just want to share something jimmysbride told me and it REALLY made sence... my ballroom is huge.. and I didnt want it to seem empty with my 150 guests, so I was going to put 8 at a table instead of 10... 1) cost more $$ in centerpieces 2) what happens if you have some no shows? ( sad to say but it happens) - the table of 8 would look really empty.. you dont want people to feel like they are in the 'loser table' or something - JMO though!!

Re: how many tables?
NVRBRD When we went they had 6 on each side and in the right corner they had an odd one...just like in the pics. I may end up doing 5/5 plus 1. Make them change around the room.
We have way too many favors.....right now we have (NO more being added) , cds, chocoate baskets and rum cake. OOps forgot the place card frames.

I hear what you are saying. We are having between 100 to 115 guests max and honestly based on the amount of people who come that will be the deciding factor for us. As for centerpieces we used the house florist for personal flowers and they gave us rose centerpieces free (already paid for in the meal price anyways), just going to pay a little extra to add more flowers so thats not a concern.

Please remember you need to have room for the DJ.

Re: how many tables?
13 oval tables total. 1 small square table for guest book/seating cards, 1 small square table for our 2 cakes.
We had a combination of large and small oval tables. Our large can hold 10-13 people, and the large can hold 14-16 people. We had 150 guests total.

Re: how many tables?
Our Dj is not your typical Dj. His sound is computer based and has minimal equpmnet. We went there in January and mapped everything out already. so now its up to the number of guests coming. Trust me, the only thing missing was a tape measure lol.
