How many times did you meet with your Priest/officiant?
We met with our Decon twice already..had precana, have to meet with the coordinator of the ceremony and the music director.
Now the Deacon just called and said he'd like to meet with us again! 'to go over everything'.
Umm, isn't that what the rehearsal is for?
Did you girls have to do this?

we met with our officiant when we booked - we are going to try and do a rehearsal the night before the wedding with her to go over everything and so we can meet again before the wedding - so probably only 2 times

We met once to go over everything we needed to do in order to get married in the church, and all the restrictions. We had pre-cana, which the deacon was minimally involved in (mostly host couples). Then we met again last month to discuss the details of the ceremony and rehearsal, and we also met with the music director for like 5 minutes after church one day to choose our music We will not be meeting again until the rehearsal, although I have emailed him some questions (confirming things for our program, etc.!) HTH!

so far, 2 times. we met once to arrange the date and then a few weeks ago to talk about the schedule for day of and the wedding ceremony itself. Deacon Bob rocks!

we met with our reverened once when we booked him. Then we had a few phone calls about the details with his wife who works with him. Then a few days before the wedding we had a detailed phone call with teh reverend. It was all fine and good!

We met twice....then had to do witnesses which was no ther session. Decan is doing our rehearsal so our preist called me the other day for like a 1/2 hr to go over everything for the day since he wont be at reheasal. We have a very old fashioned priest....which is very nice....and it involved a lot of sessions..LoL
