I have loved people b/f , but as for being TRULY 'in love' - only 1x also (with DH)

I think I *thought* i was in love before I met DH, but it actually took meeting him to realize what 'being in love' truly meant

That made no sense

I thought I was once before, but only after loving FH did I realize that it was 'real'. (they need a cheeseball emoticon option on here.)

That makes total sense -

I too thought I was in love before - but in comparison to what I feel now - I know it was love but not 'in love'.

Only once and now I sleep next to him every night!!! I also didn't meet him until I was 25 so I had so many lonely years before!!

Twice....dated a lot, but i can honestly say i was only in love with two guys my entire life...my first love and my DH.

I've been in love twice. The first guy I loved him but he didnt love me and DH.

twice. I had a wonderful relationship with my high school/college sweetheart, and we loved each other very much - it was defintily puppy love, but we were in love. We wanted different things in life, so we parted ways.
