How many towels for a half bathroom?

How many towels for a half bathroom?

I know this might be silly, but the house we are buying has a full bath and a 'powder room'. I have everything for the full bath, but I am not sure of what we'll need for the half. Would four hand towels be enough? Would it be a waste to also get regular sized bath towels too?

i guess it depends on what you want to display on the towel rack. I always put 2 regular towels then 2 hand towels on the rack.But maybe you should use towels you already have to figure out the look you want, then make your purchases that way.
