How Many Trick or Treaters?

Just curious....

We're on the short blocks, so we didn't get as many as the long blocks (we're the ave. side, not the block side). We got about 8 kids.

i am so sad, it is our first halloween in our new house and NO trick or treaters came...its really depressing actually

I havent had any since I got home around 6:30... I took my son out in Wading River (SIL house) right down the block from Tall Grass and it was like a kids invasion! I can say I easily saw about 50 kids on the only 2 blocks we walked! Gabe filled his bucket by then and we had to go home

I'm in a nice residential area and we also got NO trick or treaters. It's just not like it was when we were kids. To many sickos out there parents just keep their kids in and do parties. It really sad that my son is never going to know what fun Halloween was before reality set in and ruined it.

Only three here for me. But I live in an apartment complex in SW florida and Halloween doesn't seem to be such a big to do as it does in NY.

We had so many. We had the big 100 bar bag of cady and DH called me on my way home from work to pick up more. By the end of the night, we on;y had less then 10 left from the 28 bag I bougt later. And I'm stingy too - 1 per person!
He got to see most of them though. But I was surprised when there was still a couple of little ones after 8:00.
And there was one kid, who seeing I had only 2 peanut chews left in the bowl (hadn't opened the new bag yet) he asked if he could have both since (pointing to the kids coming up behind him) 'they won't get any anyway'. BRAT!!!! I was glad then that all he got was one tiny peanut chew.

Again we had no trick or treaters, but someone did smash one of my pumpkins!!!!

We had one group of 3. I was excited though, b/c we never got any in my old building, but I live in more of a family friendly area now. I think I would have gotten more if I was home earlier.

the nerve!

We didn't get too many trick or treaters, but I noticed there were A LOT more older kids who came ringing the doorbell and without costumes! I ended up giving them some candy anyway but I was shocked they had the nerve to come begging for candy and coudln't even make the extra effort to get dressed up.
